The Easi-Dec Roof-Dec and Mini Roof-Dec Platforms
The Easi-Dec Roof-Dec system offers you quick and simple access to most types of chimneys. Single or double platforms can be used depending on the chimney location. Both options provide spacious, rock steady working conditions in complete safety.
The two metre Roof-Dec platform is compatible with your standard Easi-Dec platform and so can be fitted with telescopic legs providing you with dual purpose access that is affordable, versatile and robust.
The Mini Roof-Dec shown in picture 3 is designed for short duration chimney work such as minor repairs or fitting flu liners. Both Mini Roof-Dec and the two metre Roof-Dec are supplied complete with twin roof ladders or a single roof ladder in the case of Mini Roof-Dec.
Pictures 3 and 4 show Roof-Dec systems used in conjunction with a standard Easi-Dec (picture 3) and an eight metre Roofline system comprising two two metre Easi-Dec Telescopic Platforms and a four metre Cat-Walk (picture 4). These pictures show the versatility of the 2 metre Easi-Dec platform, either as a general working platform, as edge protection or as chimney access.

For simple chimney repairs the Mini Roof-Dec is more suitable because of it’s compact size and light weight. In addition the Mini Roof-Dec can be assembled and carried by one person whereas the two metre Roof-Dec requires two people. Note that in pictures 3, 4 and 5 edge protection is provided by the Easi-Dec system.
Operational Description
Utilising standard Easi-Dec systems to provide access and edge protection at gutter level, the roof ladder(s) are positioned accurately before carrying up the Roof-Dec platform and attaching it to the ladder rungs with the special kit provided. Access onto the two metre platform is via either ladder, and access to the Mini Roof-Dec is via the extra short ladder shown in picture 5. All platforms are fully gated and guarded including toe-boards.
